Emergencies

Please go to the nearest Emergency Department or call 911 if you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, including suicidal thoughts or thoughts of harming others.

An excellent resource is the Crisis Line of Hawaii:  1-800-753-6879 (neighbor islands)

When you call the Crisis Line, an experienced mental health professional will talk with you about your situation and likely come out to your location to meet with you in person to figure out how to best help you.

Please do not rely on calling our office as a way to manage an urgent crisis as we are often not able to respond fast enough in an emergency situation and we are not in the office every day. Therefore, always call 911, the Crisis Line or go to the Emergency Department.
